An extremely
compact housing with rotating reflector system which forms
the shutter assembly. The reflector is extruded high grade
aluminium with dichroic coated synthetic glass inserts to
absorb the Infra Red radiation from the lamp and reflect
high amounts of short wave UV. The system may be either
air or water cooled, depending on application, and has a
quick lamp-change facility to reduce press down-time. It
is an ideal solution for both label and forms printing.
The RDR reflector is made by extruding a special aluminum
alloy. It had a dichroic mirror that absorbs IRs and reflects
the UVs needed for polymerization.
