The UV. reflectors of the DCR-a HE6 range ("high effeciency") has been produced by VTI. International in order to meet the requirements of high power and for the large press market; it's small dimensions allow the installation on almost all pressess.

The DCR-a HE6 reflectors are very robust and composed of four aluminium extrusions and a light steel cover.
The inside surface, whose profile has been optimized by a numeric code, is coated by dichroic mirrors able to reflect 98% of the ultraviolet radiation and to absorb more than 85% of the infrared radiation.

Main features of the reflectors are:

• reduced dimensions 150 x 210 mm (5.91 x 8.27 inches), with lamp arc of 1750 mm (68.95") max;
• specific power up to 240 W/cm (610 w/inch)
• instantaneous shutter, by the rotation of 180 degrees around the UV lamp axis;
• "drawer" system which allows it's entire body to be taken out of the housing for maintenance and lamp change operations;
• rapid clutch connectors for electric and pneumatic connections.

Even at high powers the DCR-a HE6 reflectors are wholly cooled with forced air and, thanks to the particular inside geometry, they guarantee an effecient and economic elimination of the heat and of the ozone produced; the reflectors can be equipped with forced air cooled or water heatsinks.
